Essential information
Thank you for your interest in Prof Moons Monster Mash, please view the below information regarding your booking and your experience on the night.
- Tickets are non refundable and non transferable
- This event includes both indoor and outdoor sections, 70% of the event takes place inside the bunker, there is an optional walk through the woods across potentially uneven and muddy ground. You will also be outside between your car and the check in area. The waiting and check-in area is fully under cover.
- The event is designed for children, there is no minimum age but everyone over the age of 3 requires a ticket. Younger children under 3 are welcome but may not be able to participate in the activities and some scenes may not be suitable.
- All children must be accompanied by a full paying adult at all times.
- Each session runs ONCE per day. The earlier you arrive the longer you will get to experience all of the activities. Last entry will be 1 hour before close to ensure you can take part in the majority of the activities. You may need to wait to enter the bunker if the event is busy.
- Please make sure everyone in your group is wearing comfortable shoes and sensible appropriate clothing. The bunker can be cold even though it is inside.
- Standard charges apply to visitors with accessible/special needs, carers are free of charge and should use the code “CARER24” for a discount on the carer ticket for the event. Please add the carer ticket in addition to any other tickets. Only 1 carer ticket can be added per booking.Proof of disability will be requested on arrival, which can be a statement of special educational needs from LEA or NHS, a letter from a medical professional on NHS headed paper, a DLA or PIP letter from the Department of Work & Pensions, Attendance Allowance, Incapacity Benefit or National DID Card. We do not accept carer cards. If you arrive without this information unfortunately payment in full will be requested on arrival.
- Food and drink will be available to purchase before and after the event, please do not bring any of your own food.
- You are responsible for your children during the event so ensure that they are under control and do not touch any of our actors or set during the event, we have a zero tolerance police to destructive and out of control behaviour towards our scarers, staff and location.
- Fancy dress is allowed and encouraged but please leave any fake weapons, or large bulky costumes at home as the bunker has small corridors and safety is our top priority.
- All buggies and pushchairs must be left outside as there are varying levels, lots of stairs and no lift access once inside the bunker. These can be left under a covered walkway or inside our check in area.
- The Bunker has lots of stairs, including some narrow walkways and steps in and out of rooms. Due to this the bunker is not suitable for wheelchairs or anyone that struggles with stairs. We advise anyone concerned about this to give our office a call for further information.

What happens on the event?
The event is set in the grounds and inside of the bunker itself. You will roam through the location and different areas meeting characters.
How long does the event last?
The event will last around 1-2 hours depending how long you spend in each area.
How much are tickets?
Tickets start at £14.50
Will it be scary? Do people Jump out at me?
There will be NO jump scares, the event is intended as a family experience. Some areas may be creepy and atmospheric. Some areas may be set up for older children, but you do not need to enter into the areas that you feel will be too scary for your group. These will be clearly marked as ‘For older children’
Is the event indoor?
The event includes both indoor and outdoor sections. The waiting area pre-event is completely covered. The majority of the event uses the Secret Nuclear Bunker itself so the majority of the event is indoor.
Who can attend?
The event is designed for children (and fun loving adults!)
Will the actors touch me?
The actors will not touch you. We do not allow you to touch the actors or the set. We have a zero tolerance policy to disruptive behaviour towards scarers, staff and our location.
Will I get dirty?
As the bunker is a genuine military bunker it is possible that you may get a little dusty / dirty. The less you crawl around on the floor the better, but we all know that little monsters enjoy crawling around, so please dress appropriately!
Do I need to run?
You will not need to run, the location is a genuine ex government bunker so no running is permitted due to the stairs and sudden drops in the location.
What happens if I am too scared?
If anyone in the group is too scared please alert a member of staff who will radio our team to direct you to an exit if you are not able to find one.
How many people go through per group?
We are a free roaming experience so there will be a number of other people attending the experience at the same time.
Do you offer group discounts?
This year we are limiting numbers so unfortunately we are not offering any standard multi buy discounts.
Can I attend with any medical conditions or disabilities?
Please consult your GP if you have any history of medical conditions that could be affected by an atmospheric experience. We unfortunately are unable to cater for wheelchair users this year due to the stairs at the location.
